Well, my HP Pavilion dv1311se is still at it. Even after acting on the suggestions of the previous tech support chat session, my lappy overheated again this morning — and after only 2 hours of operation. I even had it propped up like they suggested. ‘Course, it doesn’t help matters at all when the processor fan isn’t running, right?

So as we speak, the technician is arranging for FedEx to come out and pick up my laptop for service — time to burn all my projects to CD cuz I’ll be without good ol’ lappy for about a week and a half to two weeks. ARGH!!!!

I’m curious to see if any other dv1311se owners (or even dv1000 series owners) are having overheating troubles like I am.
